  There are many good people who have worked on the problems of Maltese text on the computer, some of which have been around for nearly a decade. However, there are serious problems with compatibility which arise out of using a system which is specially built for Maltese. It is my goal to see Maltese as ubiquitous and inbuilt as any other language currently is.
